List of Germans who resisted Nazism

This list contains the names of individuals involved in the German Resistance against National Socialism, insofar as they are not primarily on the list of members of the July 20 plot.

Those individuals, as with those in the Kreisau Circle are in the list of members of the July 20, 1944 plot. People whose activities are not primarily with the July 20 plot are on both lists. The members of the Rote Kapelle are not presently on this list.

There are both men and women on this list of German Widerstandskämpfer ("Resistance fighters") who grew up in Germany, some in Austria, who risked their lives to overthrow the National Socialist regime, to denounce its war criminals, tried to prevent World War II, tried to sabotage German attacks on other countries, or to protect those who were being harmed and persecuted by the Nazis.

After the individual's name and dates, is listed the affiliated resistance group. Where none is mentioned, the individual acted alone.
